This is a simple storytelling system that will help you create unlimited ideas for stories, worlds, characters, locations, and scenes.
It contains 4 decks of cards that offer hundreds of prompts for the key story ingredients (locations, characters, actions, and targets).
Rotate the cards to mix and match the prompts and create millions of unique ideas.
The story cards will guide you through the process of developing your ideas into complete stories. Follow these guidelines to learn how to create stories on your own, or deal these cards to other players to brainstorm and improvise stories collaboratively with your friends!
Additional bonus cards can be combined with the main decks to exponentially explode the number of possibilities, and make the already large number of prompts truly limitless:
- The story recipe cards provide templates for story loglines. Fill in the blanks with prompts to instantly generate full story concepts.
- The idea cards provide unexpected twists to your ideas. Combine them with prompts to make your ideas even more creative, unusual, interesting, and surprising.
- While the main decks can be used to create stories in any genre, the supernatural expansion provides additional character cards to inspire ideas in fantasy and sci-fi genres.
